This was the first designated CAR-T centre in Foshan, and the fourth partner centre in Guangdong — alongside Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and Nanfang Hospital. Your own T-cells are collected, re-engineered to recognise the cancer, and infused back.
It is indicated for adults with relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma after two or more previous lines of systemic therapy. It is not a first-line treatment, and it is not for everyone — but for the patients it fits, there is often nothing else left.
